Mike Kupenga is a New Zealander by birth, now firmly settled in Guernsey. From 2003 he specialised in working with ultra-high net worth private clients with a global bank, providing family office services with a particular focus on the management of hard assets such as high-value real property and superyachts. He also works closely with private equity/ venture capital organisations, specialising in start-ups for high-tech and med-tech enterprises.

Vikki has over 15 years experience in the Guernsey Finance industry having spent her career with three respected Trust Companies.  Vikki has managed a wide range of private-client structures. Vikki joined the Family Office team in September 2022, and is responsible for the oversight of the team, structure, and day to day relationship with the Family Office.

Lisa Whelan is a Chartered Secretary and honours graduate in Business Studies, with a Masters in Corporate Governance and Administration. With over ten years’ experience in trust and fund administration, banking and corporate services she is a versatile and adaptable senior member of our client services team, assisting with training and staff supervision.

Sarah was born and educated in Guernsey and has worked in the Guernsey Finance industry for over 35 years, previously managing a number of private client structures.  Sarah joined Albecq in September 2023 in a non-client facing role and provides administration support to the Family Office team.

Tony Rouillard was raised & educated in Australia before completing his education back in Guernsey. He later flew commercially for both local & UK airlines, qualified as a flight instructor in the US and working across Europe, Africa and western USA. Since joining the finance industry in the mid-1990s, he has worked with established independent merchant banks and fiduciaries (and one of the largest private banks) managing substantial private family clients relationships and private fund & trust structures.

Julie McCloskey started out in the finance industry in 1994 and moved into trust in 2003 where she went on to complete her STEP qualification. In 2012 she took on a quality assurance role in a local IT firm prior to returning to a more client facing role with Albecq at the beginning of 2019.

Alice Wood was born and educated locally before venturing out to work on the MS Carnival Legend in the Pacific region. Having returned to the Island Alice spent some time in hospitality management before moving into Guernsey’s Finance industry. Alice is rapidly expanding her knowledge and experience and is also now enrolled with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners presently working her way through the Certificate in International Trust Management.

Tom Domaille began his career in the finance industry in 2013 as a change of career from working in trades. Starting out in private equity fund administration he made the move to trust and company administration in 2017 and gained a STEP Diploma in 2024. Tom has experience in both private wealth and corporate administration having left a role in the latter to join Albecq in April 2022 for a more client facing position. Since joining Albecq, Tom has grown to specialise in Structured Product Issuance vehicles and continues to increase his knowledge and skill set in this area.  In his spare time, Tom enjoys writing, recording, and playing live music and organising events with his bands, including fronting local AC/DC tribute ‘Back In Vraic’.

George Mahy was born and raised in Guernsey and has twenty years of experience in trust and company administration, primarily with small boutique firms in the island, with an onus on building strong client relationships.

He has an ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration and enjoys the varied day to day work of the industry.

George joined Albecq during October 2019.

Aimee Le Prevost was born and educated in Guernsey. She joined us in August 2021 after she finished her studies towards her Extended Diploma in Art and Design. In addition to working with Albecq, in her spare time she continues to create projects with her photography and videography.

Kaci Prevel was born and raised in Guernsey. After joining Albecq in March 2023, she has become a highly valued member of the team, assisting with a wide range of administration tasks and performing to the highest standards.

Marni was born and educated in Guernsey, where she developed a strong foundation in communication and organizational skills. Prior to joining Albecq in June 2021, she gained experience across several sectors, including payroll, travel, reporting, and administration. Since becoming part of the Albecq team, Marni has shown commitment to professional development and personal growth. She is keen to continue expanding her knowledge and expertise within her role.

Lilli was raised and educated in Alderney before completing her education in Guernsey. She joined Albecq in September 2024 after working in the Interior Design industry. Lilli is rapidly expanding her knowledge and experience and is now enrolled with STEP to complete her qualifications.

Helen was born and educated in Guernsey and she has over 30 years’ experience working in the finance industry. She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and holds ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration.

Helen joined Albecq in September 2021.

Melanie was born and educated in Guernsey. She has worked for over 20 years in the Guernsey Finance industry, and her roles have included, bookkeeper, management accountant, senior client accountant for both large corporations and independently owned companies. Melanie joined Albecq in June 2024. In her spare time, she enjoys wild swimming and various crafting activities.

Cecelia started in the Finance Industry in 1997 with various roles in banking, insurance and pensions she is C.A.T qualified and joined Albecq in October 2024.

Jenny has worked for several decades within the Guernsey Finance Industry. Latterly Trust & Company administration at Kleinwort Benson, followed by 9 years in the Credit   Suisse Trust Finance Team. She joined Albecq in May 2024 and works in the UHNW/Corporate Services Team assisting with Client Accounting.

Corinna was born and educated in Guernsey and has over 40 years’ experience working in the finance                        sector, commencing her career in PA/Secretarial administration, followed by various roles within Trust businesses, and latterly spending 9+ years in Trust Administration.

She joined Albecq in May 2022 and works with the UHNW/Corporate Services Team, assisting with client accounting.

Peter Dorey has been operating a wide range of private-client structures for over twenty years. His experience includes working for a trust company owned by one of the big four accountancy firms and managing a team in the trust company of a global private bank. Peter is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Darren has more than 25 years of Compliance experience.  He worked for a large Private Bank for nearly 20 years where he held the prescribed roles of Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Compliance Officer for the Bank and also its subsidiary Fiduciary business.  He has an extensive knowledge of Compliance generally, as well as experience of managing teams, projects and implementing change. Darren was born in the UK but moved to Guernsey whilst very young.  He holds a Degree in Business and Law.

Sarah Kupenga worked for twenty years in major fund administration businesses in Guernsey, before joining husband Mike at Albecq. Sarah undertakes a variety of roles in client administration, as well as assisting the Directors with operational matters.

Andrew Duffett is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and was educated in South Africa, where he gained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Science. He has 30 years of accounting experience in a variety of financial roles including 14 years of audit and pensions, as well as 12 years of trust management and accounting for a major Swiss banking institution in Guernsey.

Cathryn Lewis was born and educated locally and has over 20 years’ experience working in the fiduciary and fund administration sectors as well as working for an office property fund in Sydney for two years. She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and holds the Certificate in Offshore Administration.

With a career in administrative roles since 1994 Lindsey brings over 30 years of experience to the team. Since 2003, she has worked as an Office Manager over seeing facilities and managing day-to-day administrative operations.  Known for being dependable and easy to work with she is always ready to support the team and maintain an efficient and well-organised workplace.

Jenny was born and educated in Guernsey and has previously worked in administrative and support roles prior to joining Albecq in March 2020.
