Mike Kupenga is a New Zealander by birth, now firmly settled in Guernsey. From 2003 he specialised in working with ultra-high net worth private clients with a global bank, providing family office services with a particular focus on the management of hard assets such as high-value real property and superyachts. He also works closely with private equity/ venture capital organisations, specialising in start-ups for high-tech and med-tech enterprises.

Lisa Whelan is a Chartered Secretary and honours graduate in Business Studies, with a Masters in Corporate Governance and Administration. With over ten years’ experience in trust and fund administration, banking and corporate services she is a versatile and adaptable senior member of our client services team, assisting with training and staff supervision.

Sylwia Pearce started out in trust administration in 2006 with an international bank, having initiated her International Diploma in Financial Administration. She went on to complete ICSA Diploma in Offshore Administration. After a career break in Australia she was invited to join Albecq on contract, quickly becoming a permanent member of the team.

Tony Rouillard was raised & educated in Australia before completing his education back in Guernsey. He later flew commercially for both local & UK airlines, qualified as a flight instructor in the US and working across Europe, Africa and western USA. Since joining the finance industry in the mid-1990s, he has worked with established independent merchant banks and fiduciaries (and one of the largest private banks) managing substantial private family clients relationships and private fund & trust structures.

Julie McCloskey started out in the finance industry in 1994 and moved into trust in 2003 where she went on to complete her STEP qualification. In 2012 she took on a quality assurance role in a local IT firm prior to returning to a more client facing role with Albecq at the beginning of 2019.

Alice Nichols was born and educated locally before venturing out to work on the MS Carnival Legend in the Pacific region. Having returned to the Island Alice spent some time in hospitality management before moving into Guernsey’s Finance industry. Alice is rapidly expanding her knowledge and experience and is also now enrolled with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners presently working her way through the Certificate in International Trust Management.

Tom Domaille began his career in the finance industry in 2013 as a change from working in trades. Starting out in private equity fund administration he made the move to trust and company administration in 2017 where he began studying towards his STEP qualification. Tom has experience in both private wealth and corporate administration having left a role in the latter to join Albecq in April 2022 for a more client facing position. In his spare time, Tom enjoys writing, recording, playing live music and organising events with his bands, including fronting local AC/DC tribute ‘Back In Vraic’.

Craig Robert heads up the UHNW/Corporate Services Team. Born and educated in Guernsey, he returned from university in the UK to work in treasury risk management at an international bank, before moving to a bank trust company. He expanded his role over the next 16 years to overseeing the operation and development of private and regulated funds and other structures for UHNW clients and family offices. Craig is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the Diploma in Fund Administration.

Janette Robert is originally from Cheshire, attending university in Scotland before returning home to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. She has been in Guernsey for over 18 years. Janette works with the UHNW/Corporate Services Team, assisting with client work as well as monitoring performance and producing critical NAV data.

George Mahy was born and raised in Guernsey and has twenty years of experience in trust and company administration, primarily with small boutique firms in the island, with an onus on building strong client relationships.
He has an ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration and enjoys the varied day to day work of the industry.
George joined Albecq during October 2019.

Helen was born and educated in Guernsey and she has over 30 years’ experience working in the finance industry. She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and holds ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration.

Sue was born in Guernsey and left school to work at an electronics company. Starting out in finance over 30 years ago as an International Money Transfers Clerk then on to a couple of other large International Banks as Accounts/Admin. Sue was employed as a local Florist before joining Albecq.

Marni was born and educated in Guernsey. She has previously worked in travel, reporting and administration roles prior to joining Albecq in June 2021.
Rapidly expanding her knowledge and experience, Marni is enjoying the training opportunities that her new role provides.

Aimee Le Prevost was born and educated in Guernsey. She joined us in August 2021 after she finished her studies towards her Extended Diploma in Art and Design. In addition to working with Albecq, in her spare time she continues to create projects with her photography and videography.

Peter Dorey has been operating a wide range of private-client structures for over twenty years. His experience includes working for a trust company owned by one of the big four accountancy firms and managing a team in the trust company of a global private bank. Peter is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Andrew Duffett is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and was educated in South Africa, where he gained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Science. He has 30 years of accounting experience in a variety of financial roles including 14 years of audit and pensions, as well as 12 years of trust management and accounting for a major Swiss banking institution in Guernsey.

Cathryn Vickery was born and educated locally and has over 20 years’ experience working in the fiduciary and fund administration sectors as well as working for an office property fund in Sydney for two years. She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and holds the Certificate in Offshore Administration.
